I started reading Stephen King's Misery today and I completely forgot how great his novels are. Of course they aren't presently considered the most merited pieces of literature but I see many things to be appreciated. His exceeding talent for horror writing baffles me. I can't seem to put my finger on what exactly makes his stories so subtlety and overtly terrifying at the same time. There's definitely something superior to be acknowledged in his novels and I'll fight any literature snob who says otherwise.
Our world is so rich in art and literature. I feel like I need to sample all of it.
Misery is a great novel. Stephen King is an exceptional story teller. :)
